Health Minister Mandaviya has said that RT-PCR test has been made mandatory from January 1, 2023 for passengers coming from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. These passengers will have to upload their reports on the Air Suvidha portal before travel.
Serum Institute will give 2 crore doses of Covishield to the Central Government for free
Here, the Serum Institute of India (SII) has asked the Central Government to give two crore doses of Covishield free of cost. Prakash Kumar Singh, director of government and regulatory affairs at SII, has written a letter to the health ministry on the matter. In the letter, he has talked about giving a free dose of Rs 410 crore.
The company has taken this decision amid the increase in corona cases in many countries including China. According to sources, Director Prakash Kumar asked the ministry through a letter how to deliver Covishield? Tell that under the SII vaccination program, more than 170 crore doses of Covishield have been given in India so far.
